Booking Terms and Conditions:
· All prices quoted include full English breakfast and VAT when applicable unless stated.
· In the event of a total cancellation, deposits will only be refundable if the room is re-let for the full duration of the cancelled booking. A £10 administration fee will apply to any refund.
· Should you need to amend or cancel your booking please contact us immediately. If the booking is amended within 14 days of the scheduled check-in time on the date of arrival, and as a result you cancel any/all room night or nights with less than 14 days notice, a charge equivalent to the total price (including any supplements selected by you) for that room night or nights will be levied unless the room is re-let for the full duration of the cancelled booking. In this event the appropriate fee will be charged without prior consent being required to your credit or debit card. A £10 administration fee will also apply to any refund.
· In the event of an early departure, guests will be liable for the full amount of the cost of their stay.
· We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance.
· Balances are to be paid on arrival by cash, credit or debit card. We are unable to accept cheques as balance payments under any circumstances.
· Rooms are normally available after 2pm (scheduled check-in time) on the day of arrival.
· Guests are asked to vacate their rooms by 10.30am (scheduled check-out time) on the day of departure.
· In line with the non-smoking legislation a strict non smoking policy operates inside the hotel building. Guests who fail to adhere to it will initially be warned and subsequently asked to leave the hotel if smoking persists. If smoking has occurred in a guest room, the offending guest will be asked to leave the hotel and a charge equal to the current booked room occupancy daily rate will be levied in order for us to completely air and clean the room. In this event your credit or debit card will be charged without prior consent. Please remember that not only is this the law but it is also consideration for all of our other guests and staff. No refund for any period of the remaining stay will be given.
· We politely ask all of our guests to behave in a respectful manner and not to cause any nuisance or behave in a violent or abusive way. In the event of this occurring the offending person or persons will be asked to leave the premises immediately. No refund for any period of the remaining stay will be given.
· We reserve the right to charge for the replacement, cleaning or repair of any item(s) belonging to the hotel, or the fabric of the hotel itself, damaged either willfully or because reasonable precautions have not been taken. In this event your credit or debit card will be charged without prior consent being required against invoice(s) that will be provided for the costs incurred.
· We do not accept group bookings such as stags or hens. If bookings of this nature are made in an underhand manner, the booking will be cancelled without a refund.
· We are very sorry but pets are not permitted in the hotel.
· We are unable to accommodate any person(s) with a serious and/or life-threatening nut or food allergy as we cannot guarantee the derivation of every item of food or drink in our kitchen. We are however happy to cater for any other dietary needs, such as gluten-free, diabetic or vegetarian diets.
